Spring Escape is a 2D platformer that tells the journey of Patchy, a little living piece of dirt, and Tulip, a talking tulip flower with a big smile on his face planted right on top of Patchy. One day, the two wake up in the depths of a long abandoned laboratory, and together they set out to find a way to the surface.


The gameplay centers around moving with grace through levels packed with obstacles, Patchy and Tulip have plenty of moves to get through the dangerous environments they'll find themselves in, in particular they can plant themselves inside dirt and move through them with ease, however different types of dirt can lead to wildly different behaviours.
